It was great to provide legal advice to the Aboriginal Housing Company Ltd to negotiate the agreement with Metrocon for the Childcare Centre in Redfern’s Pemulwuy Precinct.

The Pemulwuy Precinct is the redeveloped land known as “the Block” in Redfern owned and developed by the Aboriginal Housing Company. The Childcare Centre will nurture future generations of children at The Block and surrounds and is part of a redeveloped mixed use precinct which includes; affordable housing for 62 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, the world class Elouera Tony Mundine Boxing Gym, commercial and retail space, a gallery and student accommodation.

Great to work with Uncle Mick Mundine, Lani Tuitavake and Ailisi Tutuila from the Aboriginal Housing Company and Sam Cantali from Metrocon. We look forward to the grand opening of the Childcare Centre soon.
