YIMBA is proud to have our Managing Director Damien Barnes, named as a finalist at the Australian Disputes Centres, 9th Annual Australian Dispute Resolution (ADR) Awards in the category of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander ADR Practitioner of the Year.

Recognised by peers, clients, and stakeholders, the Australian ADR Awards celebrate excellence and the significant contributions of our ADR practitioners. The Australian ADR Awards brings together the dispute resolution community to recognise distinction in the sector.

Damien provides a flexible, customised, culturally sensitive, and an outcome-focused approach to ADR between Indigenous groups and project proponents which reduces the risks of formal disputes and mitigates time and delay cost impacts on project delivery.

The 2025 Australian ADR Awards ceremony will be held at the Australian National Maritime Museum, Darling Harbour, on 2 May.
